Ye Olde Neon Purple Powder

# KJ-104
KL0422

Bright Purple and Non-bleeding.

Warning: This color is particularly sensitive to high temperatures. If it is overheated it will clump and that clumping is irreversible. Please keep temperatures below 170 F. The pigment is also sensitive to exposure to alcohol. If you spritz it with alcohol, it will clump at any temperature. Please do not spray the product with alcohol.

Ingredients: There is no ingredients list provided with this pigment.

The powder form is recommended for Cold and Hot process soapmakers as it blends in easily with a stick blender and does not introduce extra glycerin to the formula. A 6 grams (our sample size) of the powder will color approximately 3 pounds of Cold/Hot Process soap to a medium shade.

This pigment is not permitted for use in cosmetics in the USA per the FDA. It is, however, a wonderful product for use in soap and other crafts. It is not permitted for use in products such as eye shadow, bath bombs, lotions, shampoos, nail polish, etc.

1s1s1s1s1sGreat in CPOP

Thanks for the suggestion Kaila! I mixed this neon purple with a little neon blue and made a lovely amethyst shade which was very eye-popping in my multi-colored swirl CP soap, love it!

1s1s0s0s0sNOT Purple in CP Soap, but Pink!
By Sylvia
I have tried this color twice in CP soap. Both times it morphed immediately to an orange color. As the soap cured, it changed to pink. The first time I was horrified, the second time I added 3 times the usual amount, but I had the same results.

By Diana
This color morphed into bright orange during CP, and then became bright pink in the soap. I already used a bright pink, so it was doubled. Not happy that it claims to be stable and is not. Waste of $
