Oil Control Foundation Primer

What is it? A rose colored gel with a silky, dry after feel. For fair skin.
How do you use it? Apply to the face with clean fingertips or a sponge prior to applying your color cosmetics.
What does it do? Protects the skin from dehydration and improves the adherence of your color cosmetics, the clay adds some oil control
What's in it? Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, rose powder, natural clay

Product Name INCI % grams measure
PHASE A
Silicon Gel - Cyclopentasiloxane Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer 93% 8.7 grams ---
Rose Petal Crush Rosa Gallica Flower Extract 1.6% 0.15 grams 1 Large Scoop
Valley Mauve Natural Clay Illite 5.4% 0.46 grams 1 Large Scoop

Procedure

  1. Combine Phase A ingredients in a bowl and mix for 3-5 minutes with a slow mixer. Alternately, combine Phase A ingredients in a zip lock bag, and combine using your fingers for 3-5 minutes. When finished, snip the bottom corner of the bag and squeeze the finished product into a jar just as you would squeeze frosting onto a cake or toothpaste out of a tube.

Variations ? Notes ? Warnings

  1. To make a similar product for darker skin tones, substitute Coconut Crush for Rose Petal Crush and substitute Cocoa Clay for Valley Mauve.
  2. For a lighter color without the oil control aspect, deleted the Valley Mauve Natural Clay entirely and increase the Rose Petal Crush.
  3. We recommend you package this product in a jar or squeezable tube.
  4. We recommend a 1 year shelf life as the natural Rose Petal Crush will degrade over time and may develop and odor.
  5. This product is flammable. Do not use near heat, flame or while smoking.

Great recipe but for more coverage add .15 cc of titanium dioxide and a little bit of your foundation formula for color. Enjoy ladies. And will someone post a foundation recipe
