Inteference Sampler

# SAInterferenceSampler

Interference pigments look like white powders but when wetted (lip gloss, nail polish, cream eye shadow) used in clear media (melt and pour soap, gel candles), or rubbed on the skin (mineral makeup), they burst into iridescent hues.  The pictures of interference sampler above are final results when the interference pigments are wetted.

If you love color will undoubtably find a need for interference pigments along the way.  We hope this sampler (1 TABLESPOON of each color) will give you a leg up.

The Basic Seven picture above includes (from top to bottom, left to right): Hilite Blue, Hilite Green, Hilite Orange, Hilite Violet, Hilite Red, Hilite Copper, Hilite Gold.

The Extra Six picture above includes (from top to bottom, left to right):   Starlight Blue, Starlight Green, Starlight Gold, Sparkle Turquoise (my fave), Sparkle Violet, Satin Orange Gold.

Click the "view additional information" hyperlink below for a more detailed discussion of interference pigments and tips on how to work with them.

Have the pops? and want to add more to your shadows?
By Gretchen
These are perfect for adding a little surprise or zing to your eyes. Once you have maybe a nice purple eyeshadow made you could add a little sparkle turquoise or starlight gold for added bling.

Great addition to the pop-sampler, makes nice brow highliters by themselves. I use the starlight and sparkles with matte shadows to get more depth, especially great with black matte shadows, makes for great night-on-the-town looks.

Sheen with color

Great addition to palette. The hilites have a refined sheen to them that makes me think of fine pearls...but with color in their reflection of the light.
