There are many kinds of garnet, from deep reds and blacks to pinkish gems.

Our Garnet Mica is a semi-transparent pink mica with bluish/purplish aftersheens in a medium shimmer. It is similar to our Pearl Pink in tone, but much more translucent, with less whitening coverage.

This is a young color, one that can be either sweet and naive or bold and brash, depending on its use and application.

I made a lipgloss using this mica, and it is fabulous! It is just the right pink color. It is not dramatic at all. It is perfect for wearing a daytime pinky color, and is great for when you do dramatic eyes. I also used this mica mixed with some red sparks, and some hilite violet and it made the most beautiful lippie color! I can't wait to try it in lipsticks:) I highly recommend this mica for lippies! I also made a beautiful muted pink eyeshadow with this mica.
