MARCH 2008 UPDATE: Our current inventory of this color is slightly more purple in hue and slightly darker than the earlier batches we have sold.

An elegant, sedate and saturated blue with overtones of violet sheen are captured in this medium shimmer colored mica. Elegant and subdued, a good evening shade.

The beautiful blue iris flower is famous in Japan for the May 5th celebration of Children's Day.

The color contains ferric ferrocyanide and so would not be considered stable in high pH like soap.

This mica color is just the color I have been searching for. It has alot of sparkle, and is an awesome purple color. It sort of looks metallic in the light. I can't wait to formulate with this color.....If you have been on the fence about buying this color...JUST DO IT! Believe me, you will love it too!
